Campaign season has arrived and local companies are already in full swing.
United Way's campaign provides companies and local partners with a streamlined, transparent way to address community needs. More than 8,000 corporate workplace campaign supporters will join our efforts again this year. Each year United Way starts the campaign from the ground up and resets to $0. The process of encouraging new companies, federal agencies and current partners to carry out a campaign begins anew.
This year, the Orbital Science Corporation, Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI), Rolls-Royce North America, UPS and the Washington Post are among many local companies that will carry out a campaign.
