Helping Haiti right here at home...

United Way of the National Capital Area, Christian Relief Services and Interstate Relocation Services are joining forces to bring relief and hope to those suffering in Haiti – and you can help. We are collecting medical-based supplies to help relieve the suffering of those in need.

If you would like your company/organization to participate in this very important initiative, please contact Monika Taylor at mtaylor2@uwnca.org. You will then receive a list of the most needed items and a collection box. The drive will take place until February 28. Items will be picked up by Interstate, dropped off at Christian Relief’s warehouse in Fredericksburg, Virginia, transported to Florida and then shipped to the Fondation pour les Enfants d'Haiti, (a Haitian NGO with a hospital and orphanage near Port-au-Prince -- www.usfch.org) as soon as possible.

Here’s a great way to make a very tangible difference in the lives of individuals you may never meet, but who need your help today!
